About Us

In 1992, the Trombetta and Lima families founded Sítio Maritoma , located in the city of Vinhedo, state of São Paulo, Brazil.

The property is close to the international airports of Viracopos and Guarulhos. On 10 hectares of land, the family passionately grows Persimmons, Prickly Pears, Dragon Fruits and Lychees and we sell directly to companies and Customers (B2C and B2B) with refined tastes.

We are specialized in selling fresh fruit directly from the producer to commercial warehouses in CEAGESP and Cantareira as well as to supermarkets near the city of Vinhedo.

Prickly Pear

Opuntia Ficus Indica

It originates in Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is a fruit, cactus, with a light and sweet flavor reminiscent of pear and melon. It is a symbol of resistance and adaptability. They are thorny, but with a lot to offer. Regulates blood sugar content, promotes weight loss and intestinal health, as it is rich in fiber, vitamin C, flavonoids and minerals. Its production occurs mainly from November to March, although some fruits are also harvested throughout the year.

Persimmon

Diospyros Kaki

It has its origins in Asia. First samples brought to Brazil by Japanese immigrants in the early 1900s. Fruit rich in vitamins A, B, E, mineral salts and antioxidants, thus protecting the immune system, beneficial for the cardiovascular system, aiding digestion and intestinal function. Furthermore, it protects and influences the good health of nails, hair and vision. There are different types of persimmons, however on our property we grow Persimmon Rama Forte, whose fruit is reddish in color, soft pulp, very sweet and juicy; and the Chocolate Persimmon, whose shell is yellow in color, firm in consistency and inside has chocolate-colored stripes and a sweet flavor. Its production takes place from January to June.

Dragon Fruit

Hylocereus Undactus

It has its origins in Latin America. It is known as Dragon Fruit due to its appearance. It is a fruit, cactus, with a mild and sweet flavor reminiscent of a mixture of kiwi and melon. Rich in oxidants, fatty acids, fiber and minerals, they protect the body's cells, combat cardiovascular diseases, reduce fluid accumulation, and also combat anemia and osteoporosis. Its production occurs mainly from December to May.

Lychee

Litchi Chinensis

It originated in China more than 2,000 years ago. Initially consumed by the Tang Dynasty. Its sweet and neutral flavor is rich in vitamin C, phenolic compounds, antioxidants and fiber. It requires cold and dry weather in winter for its cultivation, flowering in spring and consumed in the months of December and January.
